Surface Process of Grating

Hot Galvanizing

Hot galvanizing is performed after the end welding process. For bearing bars with thickness ≥5mm, the average zinc layer weight will be ≥610g/m². For thickness <5mm, the average zinc layer weight will be ≥460g/m². Quality and requirements conform to GB/T 13912 standards.

Lacquering

Additional protection layer applied through spraying, brushing, or soaking methods.

Service Life of Hot Galvanizing

With a zinc coating thickness of 100μm, the product's anticipated lifespan varies according to environmental conditions.

Anti-Acid and Alkali Corrosion Capacity

Effective in pH range of 6-12.5, forming a stable protective film on the zinc surface with excellent anti-corrosive properties.

Calculation of Weight and Area

Weight increases after welding and galvanizing: 12% for 30mm pitch, 14% for 40mm pitch, and 16% for 60mm pitch bearing bars
Custom-sized gratings are calculated based on actual area (including cutouts and taps)
Gratings made to customer drawings are calculated by total outside dimensions
Unusual size cutouts are not deducted from length and width measurements
